Au revoir papa...

Jack and I have sad faces today after saying farewell Keith once again. This time should be five weeks or so, hopefully he'll be home just in time for Jack's first b-day. Other than getting back into our "Mom and Jack" routine, not much is going on here. Keith had a good first Father's Day, he was kind enough to share his day with some guys from the ship that needed some home cooking. I made 40 clove garlic chicken and we had tiramisu for dessert, mmm, delicious. My little rugrat is out of control now that he's crawling. He is grabbing onto everything to stand up and when he does he takes steps to get to the next object. I thought it would take him some time to figure out how to get up the steps but he's already got it down. We had to put a baby gate in the kitchen since it's almost impossible to baby proof and thankfully there is a door in the living room so Jack has a safe place to wander to his hearts content. Speaking of rugrats...Jack is done letting me update...here are some new photos of my little man on the move.

  1. The little rascal is changing so quickly. He will be off to college before we know it. They are babies for such a short time.

I'm sorry Keith is gone again. Sounds like you had a good time while he was on shore.

Thanks for keeping us up to date. We miss you so much. Grandpa & I have our daily conversations with Jack's pictures. It's amazing how attached we got in such a short time.

Hugs and kisses to you and Jack.

    Love, Gram & Grandpa

  2. Greatest pictures ever! He is changing every minute. You have a real mover on your hands!

    Love you,

    Mom and Dad

  3. Kinda looks a little like his dad! Sorry, he will look so goofy when he gets older. At least he will be cute for a little longer. Miss you lots, can't wait to get back out. Off to Denny's next week to housesit. What an awful chore! (ha,ha) Talk to you soon.
    Love and kisses,
    Nona and clan

  4. He is going to keep you on the run now Jenn. I love watching each new stage but they do grow and change so quickly.
    Missing him already,
    Love GG Shirley
